Welcome to Awakened by Spice. We are a team of dedicated Dune fans laser-focused on Funcom’s Dune: Awakening. Our core mission is to empower every player – from beginners to seasoned veterans vying for control of the Deep Desert – with the most comprehensive, accurate, and actionable information available.

Awakened by Spice was born from a deep passion for the Frank Herbert’s Dune universe and the anticipation for Dune: Awakening. As seasoned gamers, who fell in love with previous Funcom titles (such as Anarchy Online or The Secret World), we saw a need for a single central hub where players could find reliable information and share strategies about mastering the extremely complex systems that Funcom’s games are well known for.

We envision Awakened by Spice as the definitive resource and central hub for the Dune: Awakening community, fostering understanding, strategy, and shared passion for this immersive universe.

Every guide and database entry undergoes a diligent verification process by our experienced team members before publication.

As Dune: Awakening evolves, so does Awakened by Spice. We are committed to keeping our content fresh and reflective of the current game state.

At Awakened by Spice, we are firmly committed to the rules of gameplay and to the Dune: Awakening’s community. As such, we have a firm stance against virtual item markets, real money trading (RMT) and powerleveling services. Such content and anything against the Dune: Awakening Terms of Use or Funcom's End User License Agreement is strictly prohibited on Awakened by Spice.

Awakened by Spice was founded by deVitae, a lifelong Dune fan who grew up playing previous Funcom titles (such as The Longest Journey, Anarchy Online and The Secret World).

Our journey began in July 2024, when we first heard about Dune: Awakening and, amidst our excitement, recognized the need for a high-quality, extensive and easy to navigate player-focused information source.

Our core team possesses a deep passion for the Dune lore and has both the technical skillset and journalistic expertise to deliver high quality content for all Dune: Awakening players. This unique blend of passion and experience drives our commitment to quality.
