NVIDIA Releases Game Ready Driver for Dune: Awakening

Unlock higher FPS and smoother gameplay in Dune: Awakening with NVIDIA’s latest Game Ready Driver and DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support.

On May 19, 2025, NVIDIA has released the GeForce RTX 5060 Game Ready Driver with exclusive optimizations for Dune: Awakening.

Dune: Awakening launches on June 5th (Deluxe/Ultimate editions) and June 10th (Base edition). This Game Ready Driver ensures day-one optimization and can be downloaded and installed from either the NVIDIA App or NVIDIA GeForce Drivers page.

Dune: Awakening launches with out of the box support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex.

Players with GPUs from RTX 50 Series and DLSS Multi Frame Generation turned on can expect up to three times higher frame rates at 4k resolution (as seen in the video below) in intense PvP zones and open-world areas of Dune: Awakening, resulting in buttery smooth combat.

NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a suite of neural rendering technologies that uses AI to enhance gaming performance, image quality, and responsiveness.

Multi Frame Generation utilises this DLSS 4 technology by generating multiple additional frames between the traditionally rendered frames, massively boosting the performance and visual fidelity.

While Multi Frame Generation is available only for RTX 50 series cards, DLSS works on every RTX card, so players with older GPUs can also take advantage of these Game Ready Drivers.

The latest GeForce Drivers can be downloaded and installed from either the NVIDIA App or NVIDIA GeForce Drivers page.

Players should download these drivers well in advance of June 5th head start launch and perform benchmarking tests using Dune: Awakening’s official Character Creator and Benchmark Mode tool to ensure that they are ready to experience Arrakis in its full splendor.
